Estonia: Casino hotel and surfing centre to be built in Narva

ABSTRACT

Estonian developer SunWave is seeking for strategic investors from Russia and Finalnd in the development of a 14-storey casino hotel and indoor surfing centre business in the beach area in Narva-Joesuu. The company expects to attract wealthy customers from St.Petersburg, following the Russian authorities' imposed restrictions on casino business in Russia. SunWave expects to attract a foreign company registered in Estonia to become the operator of the casino hotel. The company expects to launch the building of the EEK 290mn (EUR 18.53mn USD 27.77mn) SunWave centre in 2010-2011 and the centre to be put into operation in 2012.
