Utah Wal-Mart and Sam's Club locations recently donated more than $600,000 to Primary Children's Medical Center through the Children's Miracle Network. The donation happened during the grand re-opening of the Murray Sam's Club located at 6525 S. State St. To reward the store's efforts, the Wal-Mart Foundation contributed an additional $350,000 for a total of $609,000.Each of the eight Sam's Club locations in Utah contributed $1,000 to the Babe Ruth League World Series, a national event that will take place in Murray in August. The Murray Club has also planned three fundraisers to support the baseball league series, which features 10 teams of 13-year-old baseball players nationwide. The Salt Lake Tribune
