Wal-Mart expansion should be complete this fall

CAMBRIDGE

Expansion of the Cambridge Wal-Mart into a supercentre should be complete this fall. A firm date for the "grand reopening" hasn't been set, said company spokesperson Felicia Fefer. Work started in January on the 50,000-square-foot expansion to the building at Highway 401 and Hespeler Road. The expansion will make room for a supermarket-style selection of foods. Another 50 workers will be hired.
